Smile i want to try it out

Hello everyone, Im seriously totally new to guild wars; i played it on my friends PC and he has got Dial up, so i decided to try it as well (because i too have dial up); I would go ahead and buy the game like I did with city of heroes, but since neither city of heroes nor Auto Assault worked on my machine, im not going to go ahead and buy the game ASAP.

Which brings me to my question: does anyone have one of those trial run passes? My friend just tried to get me his '14 days or 10hours, whichever comes first' pass, but the code was not accepted.

so if you feel generous, i would like to join Guild wars as WoW costs too much for how often i play it.

Thanks everybody,
Lionel aka Xingtheking

City of Heroes has much higher system reqs than GW. Not as bad as CoV though, there you need atleast 1gb RAM or you get 2 minute long load screens and dial up is out of the question.
